(ongoing project) World Experience for Georgia's project implemented in cooperation with the South Caucasus Regional Office of the Heinrich Boell Foundation in 2017 aims to facilitate energy reforms in Georgia through public and civil society awareness raising that hopefully will increase policy impact of civil society in policymaking process.

Hrazdan Thermal Power Plant, Armenia

As the world goes through what some pundits have already called a new “energy revolution”, one of its most obvious and far-reaching consequences is the downward trend in oil and natural gas prices. Coupled with recent geopolitical developments, namely the so called “Iranian opening”, this development looks set to open up new opportunities for Armenia.

On Oct. 29-Nov. 1, 2015, the Heinrich Boell Foundation hosted training in Batumi for the 12 environmental journalists. Here we present report of the event and the articles prepared by participants.
