Dr. Habil Ingrid Oswald, Sociologist, holds a postgraduate certificate in Eastern European Studies. She has reach experience in teaching and project leading at the universities in Berlin, Magdeburg, St. Petersburg, Oldenburg.
Main research focuses are migration and ethnic relations, urban and regional studies, cultural studies.

Currently Dr. Oswald is a Vicedirector of the “Centre for Independent Social Research” (CISR)/ St. Petersburg; Associated professor at Humboldt University Berlin (Dept. for Urban and Regional Studies)
