Scholarship programme

The long shadow of one study: The story of village exchange ten years later

After completion of the Scholarship Program, hbs provided its alumni S. Rumyantsev and S. Huseynova with an additional opportunity to implement a joint project with colleagues from Armenia. One of the results of this collaboration was the book Beyond the Karabakh Conflict: The Story of Village Exchange written together with Arsen Hakobyan. Ten years later, the acquired experience has not lost its relevance for the authors. in Russian

Green Academy

In 2015 the South Caucasus Regional Office of the hbs launched the Green Academy with an aim to develop a regional platform for young activists, journalists, scientists and politicians for interaction and cooperation on issues related to sustainable development policies, promote principles and values of sustainable and green politics in issues related to economic, social and political development of the South Caucasus societies, and stimulate public discussions on mentioned principles and values.

Scholarship Programme

In 2003-2014, the Heinrich-Böll-Foundation (HBS) has run a yearly “on site” scholarship programme for 25 up-and-coming academics in the social sciences from all South Caucasian nations.
