The Green Political Foundation

The Heinrich Böll Stiftung is the German Green Political Foundation. Affiliated to the "Alliance '90 / The Greens" political party represented in Germany's federal parliament and based in Berlin, it conducts and supports civic educational activities worldwide.

The Heinrich Böll Stiftung is part of the Green political movement that has developed worldwide as a response to the traditional politics of socialism, liberalism, and conservatism. Our main tenets are ecology and sustainability, democracy and human rights, self-determination and justice.

The South Caucasus Regional Office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation was opened in Tbilisi 2003. Its main objective is to contribute to the forming of free, fair and tolerant societies in the region.

Heinrich Böll is one of the most important and best-known writers of the Federal Republic of Germany. "Bound by the times and my contemporaries, to what my generation has lived through, experienced, seen, and heard," as he himself wrote, he was the critical chronicler of Germany’s history at mid-century.

South Caucasus Regional office of the Heinrich Boell Foundation is offering an internship for all interested parties. Interns will get an insight into the practical aspects of the work of a political foundation as well as administration and planning process.
