One of the main problems in today’s Georgia is the great number of unemployed persons. Difficulties in finding a proper workplace especially concern members of ethnic minorities, since ethnical affiliations play a major role when applying for a job. In the context of her scholarship research project, Teona analyses discrimination and problems of inequality facing ethnic minorities of Armenians and Azeris in Georgia. She is focusing on societal discourse and minorities’ discourses, regarding ethnically motivated discrimination in the field of labour.
