The Yerevan-based Analytical Centre on Globalization and Regional Cooperation (ACGRC) organized three one-day seminars in Vanadzor, Gyumri and Yeghegnadzor, with support from the South Caucasus Regional Office of the Heinrich Boell Foundation.
The activities were aimed atdisseminating information about the Armenian-Turkish protocols and to involve the Armenian public, especially those living in remote regions, in the ongoing discussions. Seminar participants were exposed to different points of viewand actively used the opportunity to express their opinions and ask questions about the process and its future.
The seminars brought together a wide spectrum of civil society representatives, among them experts, analysts, representatives of NGOs, journalists, representatives of youth unions and students. They were widely covered by the local media, including “9th TV” and “Lori-TV” stations, which reported on the event in Vanadzor, while “Gala TV” station covered the seminar in Gyumri.
