The goal of the project is to strengthen the resilience of community-based activists in Armenia against false narratives targeting eco-activism by promoting the discourse on introducing and implementing green policies in RA communities.

Since January 2024, pressure has been exerted on environmental activists and environmental NGOs in Armenia. These pressures have manifested in the form of fake attacks, SLAPP proceedings against environmental activists, and false narratives spread and promoted by the tabloid media.

Against this background, ensuring that society-particularly community residents and activists—has access to accurate information is essential. Additionally, increasing awareness and drawing attention to the significance of green policy formation and implementation at both local and national levels can contribute to the sustainable and healthy development of communities. This, in turn, can serve as one of the most influential counter-narratives.

One of the main objectives of the project is to shape public opinion and stimulate informed discourse on the importance of green policies by documentary reports and podcasts on the current challenges of green policies in Armenia.
