Sargsyan, Izabella - Alumni network

Isabella Sargsyan was born in 1980 in Yerevan, Armenia. She graduated from Yerevan State University with a Theology/Religious degree. She also received a M.A. in Theology after successfully defending her thesis on Ecclesiology of the Armenian Church. In 2006, she graduated from the Political Science and Sociology department of the London School of Economics, where she received a Master of Sciences in Human Rights. Her MSc thesis dealt with social movements in contemporary Belarus. Currently, she is a PhD student at Yerevan State University.
From 1997-2004, Isabella worked for various regional projects implemented by Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly, including editing of South Caucasus youth magazine the Collage (http://www.thecollage.am/ ). Since December 2006, she has been working for USAID South Caucasus Water Program as the Grants Manager/Public Outreach Specialist.
