Arsen Hakopyan was born in 1976 in Yerevan. He holds a PhD in History and specializes in Ethnography. In 1999, he graduated from the Department of History at the Yerevan State University; in 2002 he completed his postgraduate study at the Chair of Ethnography of Yerevan State University, defending his dissertation “Tat-speaking Armenians: historic-ethnographical research”. Arsen Hakopyan is the author of around ten scientific articles and papers. He is a lecturer at Gavar State University.
