Abbasov, Ilham - Alumni network

Ilham Abbasov was born in Baku in 1975. In 1992 he finished Secondary School #171 in Baku. In 1992-97 he studied at the Department of Sociology of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology of Baku State University. Since then he has been engaged in different sociological projects. In 2000-2003 he was a postgraduate student of social philosophy at BSU. He currently works as a history teacher at Secondary School #131.

Mr. Abbasov is co–founder of “NOVATOR”, a non-governmental organisation for social research. Research topic:
The potential of conflict in ethnic myths and the educational system in independent Azerbaijan.
