Hamida Giyasbayli is an independent facilitator and journalist from Baku, Azerbaijan, with over a decade of expertise in navigating violent conflicts, humanitarian aid, and human rights. They are actively designing safe spaces for multi-format dialogues and passionately engaging in advocacy for gender equality, peace, and LGBTQI+ issues. Hamida holds a Bachelor's degree from Baku Slavic University in Language Interpretation and Translation, a Master's degree in Peace, Development, Security and International Conflict Transformation from the Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, as well as Master's degree in Multimedia Journalism and Media Management from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs.
