Mikael Zolian is historian and political analyst from Yerevan (Armenia). Currently, he teaches at V. Brusov Yerevan State Linguistic University and is a politucal analyst at Regional Studies Center, Yerevan.
Mikael Zolian has graduated from Yerevan State University (Armenia) and Central-European University in Budapest (Hungary); he has also been a visiting scholar at the University of California (Berkeley, CA, USA) and the University of California (Los Angeles, CA, USA).
Mikael Zolian’s research interests include issues of nationalism and ethnicity, ethno-political conflict, democratization processes and social movements. Mikael Zolian is the author of number of articles published both in Armenia and abroad.
Mikael is also alumnus of HBF South Caucasus regional scholarship programme (2004).
