Edgar Vardanyan received a qualification of a researcher-trainer after his postgraduate studies at Saint Petersburg State University. He holds Master’s degree in Political Science from NAS RA International Scientific-Educational Center. His areas of interest are the theory of democracy, democratization processes, civic resistance, Armenian internal politics. He is the author of several studies on those topics. He has taught political science at the Moscow Institute of Business and Law (2007-2012) and at the Eurasia International University (2008-2009). As a political analyst Edgar Vardanyan has collaborated with a number of leading Armenian and international organizations and foundations. Currently he is the editor-in-chief of “Detector.am” analytical project at Boon Foundation.
