Agհasi Tadevosyan holds a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology. He is a senior researcher at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and a lecturer at the Department of Archaeology and Ethnography of YSU. His main research interests are the cultural transition and value transformation, modernisation, the anthropology of war, the anthropology of city and space, the anthropology of social change and poverty, civil movements and migration processes in post-Soviet Armenia. Aghasi Tadevosyan is the author and co-author of 18 books and more than 90 articles in local and foreign scientific publications on modern socio-cultural processes, traditional culture and historical monuments of Armenia.
