Anna Gevorgyan

Anna Gevorgyan is a researcher at the Center for Culture and Civilization Studies and a lecturer at Yerevan State University (YSU). She also hosts a foreign policy program on Boon-TV. She earned her MA in Iranian Studies from the Chair of Iranian Studies at YSU's Department of Oriental Studies in 2009 and is a PhD candidate in Oriental Studies. Since 2009, Anna has been an active researcher at both YSU and the Center for Civilization and Cultural Studies.
Beyond formal academia, Anna has extensive experience teaching in various non-formal educational programs, including the School of Conflict Transformations, the School of Critical Thinking, the Non-formal Academy of Diplomacy, and the School of Research Methods. Her scholarly contributions include numerous articles on contemporary Iranian politics, Iran’s regional policy, Armenia-Iran relations, Armenia-Georgia relations, regional security issues, women’s issues in Iran, women’s rights in Islam, gender stereotypes in Armenia and the region, etc.
