Armen Ghazaryan is a researcher and lecturer, whose main areas of interest include migration studies, European studies, European migration policies and populism at large. He defended his PhD thesis on the issue of migration and security in Armenia. He studied Public policy and public administration at Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Armen was a fellow at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, concentrating his research on migration and security. He is involved in different research programs on migration and populism issues. After 2018 Armen went into public service.

Currently he is the Head of Migration Service of Armenia.
