Irakli Sirbiladze is a ReThink. CEE Fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States and a visiting lecturer at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Previously, he was an Affiliated Researcher at the PMC Research Center, a Chief Editor at the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, and a Think Visegrad Fellow at the Center for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Democracy in Hungary. In addition, over the past years, he has worked for international and local organizations including the OSCE/ODIHR, the Council of Europe, the National Democratic Institute, and the Eastern European Centre for Multiparty Democracy on election observation, political party support, democracy education, and citizen participation. Irakli holds an MA degree in international relations from Queen Mary University of London. He has published on Russia, Black Sea geopolitics, EU democracy support policies, and Georgia’s foreign policy.
