Lika Jalagania holds a BA degree in Law and an MA in International Law from Tbilisi State University. She is the author and co-author of various research papers related to the issues like women's rights, LGBTQ rights, gender equality, gender mainstreaming, and reproductive health. Currently, Lika works as a gender consultant for international and national organizations residing in Georgia.

Since 2021, Lika is enrolled in the Social and Cultural Anthropology Ph.D. program at Ilia State University. Her doctoral research focuses on the contemporary social protest that emerged in post-soviet Georgia – “The Rioni Valley Movement” and explores the veiled forms of women's political agency and resistance, examining the self-created subjectivities and observing its radical potentials and possibilities.
