Maya Baiadze graduated with honor from the department of Psychology of the Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University specialized in Social Psychology in 2001. She is focused on the Dynamics of Interpersonal and Inter group Relations and Particularities of Communication.

During 2005-2007 she was working with the International Organization World Vision Georgia on the project “Learners Life for”. The project was focused on the problems of socially vulnerable youth.

Within Heinrich Boell Foundation's Scholarship Program her research topic is: “Integration of Small Group Homes residents within a society”. The topic aims at researching of how Small Group Homes as an alternative form of social institution for children and youth without parental care benefit to personal success of the above mentioned youth.
