Marie Jelenka Kirchner works as researcher for the Macedonian Think Tank “Institute for Democracy” on European integration, European enlargement (to the Western Balkans) and European Foreign Policy. She is a PhD candidate at the Centre for Southeast European Studies at Graz University and researches the implementation of EU gender strategies in the context of European Enlargement. As part of WILPF, she is mainly concerned with the topic of Feminist Foreign Policy and possible applications in the European context.
