Sevil Huseynova graduated from Baku State University (Law) and is a doctoral student at the Institute for European Ethnology at the Humboldt-University in Berlin. From 2005 up to now, she has taken part in different research projects in post-Soviet space and Germany. From 2007 to 2010, she has been a representative of the Heinrich Boell Foundation in Azerbaijan. Since 2015 Sevil is a member and Project Manager of the CISR e.V. Berlin. Her main research interests include urban anthropology, conflicts, migration.
