Samira Huseynova was born on 22 September, 1985. She graduated from the faculty of Social Science and Psychology of Baku State University in 2007 and also earned Master degree in Social Psychology from the same university in 2009. Her Master research topic was Psycho-social peculiarity of youth’s legal consciousness. She volunteered and worked at the several state and non-governmental organizations. Her current work is connected with youth and service provision for psychosocial well-being of children and their families, service providers of Strengthening Rehabilitation Services and Deinstitutionalization Pilot Projects of Social Services Initiative and Early Intervention in Disability Public Union.
In the framework of the Heinrich Böll Foundation program, Samira’s research topic is “Psycho-social work with children with disabilities and their families: comparative analysis on Azerbaijan districts”. The research issues are concerned with the effectiveness of services and beneficiaries’ satisfaction with services.
