In the Search of Other Directions (2020-2021)

The aim of the Cooperation between Heinrich Boell Foundation, Tbilisi and Platforma.ge within the frames of the project „In the Search of Other Directions“ is to produce an alternative discourse and political imagination, which will effectively address the menaces and challenges that hinder building a just and equal society.

Platforma.ge aims at publishing a reader of selected texts from thinkers who are not afraid to re-imagine a different world. The translated texts will suggest an answer to the questions: how did different thinkers from oppressed and resilient groups around the world imagine the world they aspired for? How did they articulate issues that the modern world faces? The Project will select such texts that are bold in their imagination, but also offer alternative options that are „infected“ by indigenous and/or diverse local cosmologies.
