Alexandra Aroshvili

Alexandra Aroshvili is an independent researcher specializing in social policy. Over the past seven years, she has worked with various organizations, including the Trade Unions of Georgia, Tbilisi City Hall (focusing on transport reform), and the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA). From 2017 to 2018, she served as the editor-in-chief of the independent analytical platform European.ge.
In 2017, Alexandra was involved in critiquing the Georgian pension reform and developing an alternative model. She authored the study "Evaluation of the Georgian Pension Reform." Throughout her career, she has been a founder and activist of several social movements and public campaigns, such as "Laboratory 1918" (2011-2013), "Self-Organizing Network" (2014-2016), "Constitution for Equality" (2017), and "Collective for Fair Energy Policy" (2020).
Alexandra has authored numerous studies on social policy, political economy, various forms of inequality, informal and atypical labor, women's migration, extractivism, and ecology.
