Humay Akhundzade was born on November, 5, 1984 in Moscow. She received BA and MA in psychology at Baku State University. She also participated in several local and international trainings and conferences both in Baku and Tbilisi.
From 2007 till 2012 Humay worked as a psychologist and a chief of psychological department at XXI Century Education and Innovation Center.
Humay Akhundzade works at the department of Sociology and Social Psychology of the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Currently Ms. Akhundzade is working on her PH.D. research in social psychology.
Topics of her interest are tolerance in society and its reflection in human relations, interrelations of people in cities and villages, social-psychological problems of the family, resource importance of human factor in the solving of social problems.
