Davit Pipoyan is a Doctor in Food Science (Italy), and since 2011, he is a head of the Informational-Analytical Center for Risk Assessment of Food Chain at the Center for Ecological-Noosphere Studies (CENS) of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (NAS RA). He is a visiting professor at the University of Tuscia (Italy) and also teaches at the Department of Environmental Protection and Nature Management of CENS and the International Scientific-Educational Center of the NAS RA, as well as at the Wine Academy. His professional activities focus on food science, nutrition, food safety, risk assessment, and risk communication. He has led and participated in numerous national and international projects (Erasmus, Horizon Europe, FAO, World Bank, COST Action). He is the author of more than 90 scientific publications and over 10 scientific-methodological manuals and science-popular articles.
