Giorgi Maisuradze received his Ph.D. in Philosophy at Berlin Humboldt University in 2009. He has been a Professor at Ilia State University Tbilisi and director of the institute of social and cultural studies since 2014. From 2008 to 2013 he was a researcher at the Center for Literary and Cultural Studies, Berlin.
