Siran Hovhannisyan is a philanthropy, gender and research practitioner with over a decade of professional and scholarly experience at the intersection of philanthropy, gender justice, and public policy, primarily in Central and Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus. She currently works in the field of philanthropy and grantmaking, where she leads participatory and justice-centered grantmaking processes, feminist monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL), and movement accompaniment, alongside international consulting on gender and policy reforms. Her work is grounded in feminist and intersectional analytical frameworks, with research interests focused on feminist philanthropy, resource distribution and power, women’s funds, civil society and the political economy of funding in crisis-affected and constrained contexts.
