Exhibition "Supra of Her Own" (2014) (closed project) Installation based on the interviews with victims of domestic violence. The aim of exhibition is to re-interpret gender-based violence in order to make it subject of research and public discussion.
Kato Mikeladze - Unknown Herstories of Georgian Feminism The goal of the project implemented in the period of July-December, 2013 was to introduce Kato Mikeladze, a feminist activist of the early 20th century to a wider public through research and publication and spread the word about the heritage she contributed to the feminist thought in Georgia.
“Overcoming Gender Backlash” – International Gender Workshop in Kiev, 2013 International Gender Workshop “Overcoming Gender Backlash: Experiences of Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Georgia, Armenia and Poland” was organized and hosted by Heinrich Boell Foundation office in Kyiv in October 2013.
Gender in Scholarship Papers Presented material is a collection of works on gender issues prepared by scholars of the South Caucasus Regional Office the Heinrich Boell Foundation's Scholarship Program. The presented studies belong to the young scientists involved in the social sciences in the South Caucasus region, who were at different times the scholars of the Foundation.
Manifold Angles of Gender: Looking through a Magnifying Glass (2012) On November 26-27, 2012 the South Caucasus Regional Office of the Heinrich Boell Foundation (HBF), in cooperation with HBF offices of Poland, Russia and Ukraine, hosted an International Workshop to discuss the various issues concerning gender diversity and to look closer at the manifold angles of gender.
Free Women’s Rights! The South Caucasus Regional Office of the Heinrich Boell Foundation hosted a round table entitled “LBT Rights are Women’s Rights” on 12 March 2012. The round table was a part of the Week of 8th March Campaign organized by “Women’s Initiatives Supporting Group”. The photo exhibition “A Room of One’s Own” was also part of the event, where participants could view professional and amateur photographers’ works.
Building public confidence and maximising participation of disadvantaged groups in democratic processes through transparent elections in Georgia In order to support the democratic development of Georgia, the HBF South Caucasus regional office with support of the EC initiated a project in 2007 which sought to contribute to the success of the elections in 2008 by providing much needed knowledge of and confidence in democratic structures and procedures among the Georgian electorate. The project sought to reach out to the most vulnerable groups of women, ethnic minorities and internally displaced persons (IDPs).
