Geriyə boylanmaq sizi Əhdi-ətiq əfsanəsində olduğu kimi, duzdan sütuna çevirməsə belə, xoş olmayan baxışların hədəfinə çevrilməyinizə səbəb ola bilir. Amma bəziləri israrla geriyə boylanırlar. Ностальгия по советской эпохе в Азербайджане,  как и на всем постсоветском пространстве, нынче, мягко говоря, не в моде. Оглядываясь назад, рискуешь если не превратиться в соляной столб, как в библейской легенде, то, как минимум, выставить себя в не  лучшем свете. Но некоторые все же оглядываются. Мы постарались выяснить, что заставляет их это делать.

Nostalgia for the Soviet era is out of fashion in Azerbaijan, just as it is in the rest of the post-Soviet countries. Looking back at the old days with sympathy is rarely encouraged, if not shunned upon, yet there are still those that do. The authors of this article tried to find out what makes them miss the USSR.
